The GHK AK105 V3 GBBR brings GHK's latest 2026-spec AK V3 gas blowback system to the compact AK-105 platform. Designed for players and collectors looking for maximum realism, the new V3 combines a stamped steel receiver, full-steel operating components, full-travel bolt action, heavy recoil impulse, redesigned hop-up system, and GHK's new MCGS gas magazine technology.

This is far more than an updated version of the previous GHK AK105. The 2026 V3 incorporates extensive changes to the operating system, magazine, hop-up, bolt assembly and external construction.

Full-Travel V3 Gas Blowback System

One of the standout features of the GHK AK105 V3 is its true full-travel bolt cycle. The steel bolt carrier travels rearward through a realistic range of motion and works with a two-stage steel recoil spring system to produce the mechanical feel and recoil impulse GHK AK GBBRs are known for.

GHK also includes a buffer system that allows the rifle to be configured for either a more realistic full-travel cycling experience or a shorter bolt stroke with an increased rate of fire, giving the user the ability to prioritize realism or skirmish performance.

The V3 also incorporates a 21mm oversized nozzle cylinder for increased recoil feedback along with an optimized bolt-carrier guide rail designed to reduce stress on the nozzle assembly.

New MCGS Gas Magazine

The 2026 V3 introduces GHK's new MCGS – Multi-Compartment Gas System.

The redesigned magazine extends gas expansion time to improve vaporization and gas-output consistency while also increasing usable gas capacity and efficiency. The new MCGS magazine is approximately 20% lighter than the previous design, dropping magazine weight from roughly 670g to approximately 540g.

Even better for existing GHK AK owners, the AK105 V3 remains compatible with GHK AK-series Green Gas and CO₂ magazines from V1, V2, V3 and MCGS generations.

Please Note: While older GHK AK magazines remain compatible, the new AK V3 internal operating system uses redesigned components and V3 internal parts are not interchangeable with previous-generation GHK AK internals.

Redesigned Hop-Up System

GHK has completely redesigned the hop-up assembly for the V3 system. The new dual-nub / dual-pressure-point design applies more balanced pressure to the BB for improved consistency while the quick-release hop-up assembly makes disassembly and maintenance easier than previous generations.

Built for Realism

The AK105 V3 uses a newly manufactured stamped steel receiver with a military-grade QPQ surface treatment for increased wear and corrosion resistance. A steel outer barrel uses GHK's dual-locking/threaded locking design to minimize barrel movement and maintain a rigid front-end assembly.

A securely riveted AK100-style steel side dovetail mount provides a stable mounting point for compatible AK optics, while fiberglass-reinforced polymer is used for the handguard, pistol grip and side-folding stock.

GHK's patented Hammer Drop on Empty system further adds to the realism by stopping operation when the magazine is empty rather than allowing the rifle to continue dry-firing.
