Powered by cap gun rings, you have the ability to use either 1 cap, or all 8 caps at once, so you can adjust how loud it is to your liking. Outdoors would probably recommend using the entire ring, but if your indoor or just messing around with them you can use 1-4 caps so you can get more throws per cap ring pack.
